León Velázquez

León’s career oscillates between Art and Technology. He studied a major in Industrial Engineering at ITESM and a Master’s Degree in Arts at the Transforming Arts Institute in Madrid. He coordinates Intrapreneurship and Technology programs at Axtel where he fosters disruptive initiatives such as an ICT Living Lab for Smart Cities in Monterrey. He is professor of Art and Technology in the Department of Engineering at ITESM where he studies the role of both disciplines in people’s lives, relationships and cities
