Biography
Jesús Palomino is the General Manager of Intel’s Guadalajara Design Center (GDC). Under his leadership GDC has grown to 1,500 engineers in the last few years. The site has also experienced a growth in roles and responsibilities in multiple functions that include research, validation, hardware and software development, system integration and more.
Prior to GDC, he was the founder and director of TDCOM, a company that designed systems and provided consulting services in the area of telecommunications. Prior to TDCOM, he was the Engineering manager at Mixbaal and CTS (Semiconductors Technology Center) where he guided groups in the design of integrated circuits and computing platforms.
He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics by the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla and a Masters Degree by the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics. He participates in activities related to develop the local ecosystem, including IT industry chambers, universities and initiatives related to talent and innovation. He is a member of the IEEE, has taught classes at Universities in Jalisco and Puebla and has obtained several patents.
