Hector Duran

Hector Duran is an Engineer who is currently working on a technological startup that creates hardware and software for the Internet of the Things (IoT). He received his B.Ch.E from UPAEP Mexico and his MSc. in Automation and Artificial Intelligence from ITESM Monterrey Mexico in 2000. After graduation he worked as Automation Engineer for companies as Honeywell and General Electric among others. In 2012 he participated in a research project as technical leader, this project was supported by Mexican Council for Science and Technology CONACYT.  His experience in software development, process simulation, artificial intelligence and industrial automation has led to the current development of IoT complete solutions applied in automotive, textile, pharmaceutical and food industries. Hector Duran lives in Puebla, Mexico.
