Amado Espinosa

Amado Espinosa is a respected expert on the field of Medical Informatics with academic, institutional and entrepreneurial antecedents. He is one of few MD who developed a clinic, administrative and technical carrier. After being trained as an anaesthesiologist, he got his MBA and his MCS in Mexico and then his PhD in Germany together with the specialty on Medical Informatics.

Dr. Espinosa main objective is to become a successful entrepreneur in the field of MI and has launched a new office in Austin, Tx., for Medisist, where he’s planning to support healthcare organizations which serve Hispanic populations in USA, and developing the platform to become a global company. Dr. Espinosa founded and is the acting President of IMIA LAC (International Medical Informatics Association for Latin America and Caribbean), and the Chairman of the World Congress on ICT 2014 (WCIT 2014) Dr. Espinosa is acting as a member of the board of the Chamber for Electronics and IT Industry in Mexico (VP for eHealth). Dr. Espinosa main interests are consistent with the deployment of ICT for a better society to construct a better world.
